so at what point do your children stop wanting a treat after they go potty?

training has been done for well over week.. plus. and yet she still asks for a candy every. single. time.

i want a purple candy. she says. purple and green.

never orange, never yellow.

"where are all the red ones?" you ask.

in my tummy. for every one purple one she gets.. i probably take 5 red ones.

the days leading up to this night were not as i had planned. with tickets in hand for months a sudden trip for the mr put a wrench in said plans.

but pulling through in the 11th hour i was just relieved to be out of the house and on my own.

jon bon jovi was just a bonus.

i have a new crush. who cares if the group has been around longer than i have been alive.

dane is utterly infatuated with his sister. doesn't matter what she does, he will break out in gut wrenching giggles every time.

she talks, he laughs.

he is always laughing. and i am always lovin it.

054/365 free or cheap?

today we ate out for two meals.

lunch was spent at ihop where we all enjoyed a free stack of pancakes. yes, i even ordered for dane. they were free.

dinner was spent at jack in the box. where you got a free grilled sandwich if you ordered a large drink.

but the question is, did i go because it was free? or did i go because i am cheap?

053/365 almost there

i get that you are lazy. it runs in the family. a trait you picked up from your mom (just ask your dad).

but you are oh so close.

if only you were a bit more coordinated you would be crawling all over town. lucky for me, you haven't quite gotten it. and once you are mobile. my life is finished.

052/365 sleep much?

we were having an off day. naps weren't great. sissy was buggin, and we just really wanted the day to be over.

he was pooped.

the best part of all was when i would catch him jumping while he was sound asleep. i loved it to much to move him to his crib.

051/365 the princess is through

apparently she didn't have time to put away her princess lovelies. or maybe she doesn't know how to dress up and eat cheese at the same time. because i am 99.9% positive that that is what she was getting from the fridge when she left this there for me to find.

more so probably for me to put away.

050/365 happiest place on earth

baker got home early so we decided to spend the afternoon at disneyland.

she has her rituals.

she must always, ALWAYS, study the map before we leave the house. then i normally hand her a new one in the car. and of course we grab another handful when we walk through the gate.

my glove box is FULL of disneyland maps. they will keep her occupied for quite a bit of time. and it makes my life a little easier.

049/365 what happened to the dish fairies?

i feel a bit robbed. like the day i found out there was no santa (thanks a lot alissa). i was pretty sure that if you left a sink full of dishes when you went to bed the dish fairies would clean them, load them, and put them away before you woke up in the morning.

boy was i wrong.

i come from the land of cupcakes (new york beats us for sure), and for whatever reason everyone seems to flock to "sprinkles". i personally think they suck. they have absolutely NOTHING on "crumbs".

and it's not weird that i drove an hour just to have one. not at all. right?

there is a little store in downtown disney called "little miss matched". it's the only store on the west coast, and i love it. they have the cutest things. i've just never bought anything.

i realized today that i can just let her dress herself.. it's almost like we shop there.

don't think i watch even one play of the game. not even sure i could telly you which teams played.. actually yes i can. but only cause i watch keeping up with the kardashians.

emmy is obsessed.. i repeat obsessed with the movie princess and the frog. we have seen it in the theater twice. we have downloaded and listened to the soundtrack on repeat for weeks. she knows every word to every song. seriously.

as a surprise uncle mike got her a pirated copy of the movie that could only be played on the computer.. so while we were at nanny's house we watched it about 3 times. a day.

i can not even begin to tell you how obsessed she is.

032/365 family

our utah trip was cut short when bakers grandma passed away. we drove to northern california from utah to spend lots of time with family and remember granny pat.

these are her four kids. my mother in law is the furthest on the left. this whole family is something special. and if i could live to be half the person that any of these four are i would die happy.

i am truly lucky.

i would also like to point out that this is a very terrible photo technically and color wise. i'm allowed one a month. since i write the rules. thanks.
